New York City’s finest and bravest choose First Priority
First Priority Emergency Vehicles, the nation’s fastest growing provider of specialized emergency response vehicles, has earned two major orders to support New York City’s fire and police departments.
In conjunction with Beyer Brothers GMC and Gabrielli Truck Center, First Priority’s Flanders conversion center will deliver ten Ford F-550 Emergency Service Unit (ESU) vehicles to NYPD and twenty four GMC Sierra 2500 Battalion Chiefs units to FDNY. All of the units will encompass First Priority’s cutting edge manufacturing designs and heavy duty manufacturing process. The orders, approximating $1.4 million, are scheduled for final delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2013.
Ken Rudnicky, First Priority Production Manager, commented “We are very honored to be providing these sophisticated units to two of America’s leading public safety agencies. There is no greater demand placed on emergency services products than the streets of New York City, and we are honored the originating OEM dealerships have selected First Priority quality for these important contracts.
In addition to our recent contract from the US Postal Service, our backlog exceeds $3 million, a record for our growing conversion division”.
