First Priority Initiates Remount and Distribution Capability Expansion

First Priority Emergency Vehicles, one of America’s leaders in emergency and specialty vehicle manufacturing and distribution, has expanded to a new location in West Jefferson, North Carolina. The satellite facility commenced operations in August and has delivered its first units to local EMS agencies (pictured herein). In addition to remounts, “First Priority South” will distribute the Demers ambulance product line in North and South Carolina, as well as Kentucky. The full line of First Priority manufactured first-responder and specialty vehicles will be available in the Southeastern United States through FPS.

Heading First Priority’s expansion effort is Eric Vogl, who brings an impressive track record of of thirty years of sales and manufacturing experience to the project. “The Southeastern emergency vehicle market is underserved by the type of quality products represented by the First Priority heritage. We will match unsurpassed quality in product offerings with outstanding aftermarket service capabilities to create a superlative purchasing experience for our valued customers. To complement First Priority’s existing Renaissance ambulance line, we will be introducing our Phoenix Remounts for customers who require a value-packed product at a competitive price point” noted Vogl.

First Priority President Bob Freeman observed “First Priority South is another exciting step in executing our strategic plan to expand our brand to additional regions of the United States. With the addition of our West Jefferson location, we now employ more than 90 people in 55,000 square feet of manufacturing space strategically located near major American marketplaces. In 2016, we expect our “America’s Remounter” campaign will bring knowledge of our outstanding products to the full scope of the US emergency vehicle marketplace. We expect to announce additional remote expansion locations in the near future, bringing our manufacturing capability to within easy reach of America’s pre-hospital care community”.
